How PRP Works
PRP is a solution created from a small volume of your own blood. A simple blood draw is the first step, much like having blood taken for routine lab testing. That blood is placed in a centrifuge, which spins it quickly to separate the solid components from the liquid plasma. This allows the platelets to be collected and reintroduced to the now-cleared plasma, creating PRP.
